Greetings from the Sunlife Amateur Radio Club,

It is indeed a pleasure and a privilege to welcome you  to our website.  We are a very active group of seniors who, for the most part are "snowbirds"  and come from various parts of the country, as well as, Canada.  We do partner with the Venture Out ARC and this year boast a membership of over 85.

As President, I would like to invite you to participate, and/or join our group and get in on the fun.   We not only operate on the bands regularly, but also assist in preparation of new applicants, as well as, assist in the upgrade process for those already licensed.

Our activities include, Fox Hunts, special event day commonly referred to as the "snow-bird field day", Thursdays in the park, in which we  just go to a local park and try out new antennas and assist others with understanding and operating their own equipment.  There is a wealth of information and knowledge within the ranks of our club and we are not selfish about sharing it with and assisting others.

We also have undertaken group building projects and have completed numerous antennas and attenuators for our handheld transceivers that we all use during fox hunts.  More projects are in our plans for the future.

We have a subgroup that meets in the Red Mountain Library "Thinkspot" on Thursday afternoons at 1 pm where we do other things incidental to our hobby, like: 3D Design & Printing, Raspberry Pi, and Arduino. We also talk about Ham Radio and Antennas. If you would like to learn about anything like that, please join us.

Give us a try, and come to a meeting where we have interesting and informative programs on a weekly basis and only conduct club business one meeting a month..

Thanks for taking the time to read this and feel free to browse the site.  There will be much more to come in the near future.

73,

Jerry Davis, K7AZJ  aka "Arizona Jerry"
